Website privacy policy
This policy covers restlessfitness.com (the "site"), our waitlist and email list, and our Instagram messages. They're run by Restless Culture LLC, a New York limited liability company doing business as Restless Fitness ("we", "us"). Once you join The Art of Fluidity, the app's own Privacy Policy covers your training data: app.restlessfitness.com/legal/privacy.
1. What we collect
- What you give us: your first name and email address when you join the waitlist, your answers if you fill in the optional question after joining, and anything you send us by email or Instagram message.
- Invite links: if you arrive through a friend's invite link, the invite code in that link. Your own invite code is made from your email address, so a friend who joins through your link is matched to you.
- Where you came from: the page you joined on and any campaign tags in the link that brought you (such as utm_source).
- A record of your consent: the exact wording you agreed to, its version, and when you agreed.
- Security data: your browser's user agent, and a one-way scrambled version of your IP address that we can't turn back into the address. We use these to stop spam and abuse and to keep a record of your sign-up.
- Instagram: when you message us, Instagram shares your username and messages with us and with any tool we use to reply.
The site doesn't use advertising pixels or tracking cookies. If we add any later, we'll update this policy first.
2. How we use it
To keep your place on the waitlist; to send you the emails you signed up for (enrollment news, training tips and offers); to reply to your messages; to credit invites; to understand which posts and links bring people to the site; to keep the site secure and stop spam; and to meet legal obligations.
3. Who we share it with
Only with service providers that work for us under contract: Supabase (the database the waitlist is stored in), Netlify (hosts the site and runs the code that saves your sign-up), an email delivery service once we start sending (we plan to use Resend), and Meta (Instagram) for messages. We also share information if the law requires it, to protect someone's safety or our rights, or with a buyer or successor of the business under this policy. We don't sell your information, and we don't share it for targeted advertising.
4. Emails
Every email will have an unsubscribe link. One click takes you off the list. We keep a record that you unsubscribed so you don't get emails again. We'll still send you messages about a membership you buy.
5. How long we keep it
Waitlist and list details: until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them. After an unsubscribe we keep only what's needed to honor it. Consent records: as long as we keep your details, so we can show you agreed. Spam-protection records: deleted within 2 days. Messages: as long as needed to answer you.
6. Your rights
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or withdraw your consent at any time. Email support@restlessfitness.com. We'll answer within 30 days and won't treat you differently for asking.
7. Age
The site and the list are for adults 18 and over. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
8. Security and storage
Your details are stored in the United States, encrypted in transit and at rest, and can only be read by us. Nothing on the site itself holds a key to the database.
9. Changes
We'll post any changes here with a new date. If a change matters, we'll also tell you by email.
